I placed an order with Datsun Garage for replacement seat foam on October 18 of LAST YEAR….i still have not received the foam and am now wanting to cancel order.  I have received every excuse from delays at manufacturer, issues with shipping thru the Red Sea, have to wait till DG has enough orders for seat foam order, sales people at DG have been sick, in an accident or moved on.. to the manufacturer is relocating!  I’ve been patient but have finally had enough!  Now I’m trying to cancel the order and all I get is silence.  I tried calling and emailing them dozens of times and nothing.  I paid thru PayPal and I went thru complaints…..I am over their 180 day money return  policy. Does anyone know if they are even still in business?  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can reach them and cancel this?  Have others had issues with Datsun Garage?  Please let me know, thanks

I went through the same thing last winter. There's a thread in this forum about it somewhere. It went on for months with various different reasons why nothing had shipped. I eventually heard from someone named Mark, who got things sorted out as well as possible. He shipped the items they had on hand and cancelled the remaining items. The email thread with various people from Datsun Garage stretches from July 2023 to January 2024. I was calling and leaving voice messages at the same time I was emailing. I never had anyone answer the phone. I would keep after them to ship anything they have from your order and process a refund for the rest.

You used PayPal but how did you pay PayPal? Debit card? Bank account? Credit card?

Well as soon as I posted on here I got a response from DG and they apologized for not meeting their ETA and are going to issue a full refund in 1 to 3 days…..fingers crossed!

Yup! Same thing happened with me. I ordered a downpipe January 7th, assuming it was in stock. They emailed me the next day, saying it's been backordered, and it will be 2-4 weeks. OK, fine. 6 weeks go by, nothing. I email them about the status. My email is ignored. Another week goes by, I email them again, this time I get the 7 to 10 days time frame. A few more weeks go by. I get the run around. Now just about 3 months have gone by, I check with JDM CAR PARTS. They have them in stock and actually make the downpipe here in the U.S. wait, aren't both these places in California? Why doesn't Datsun Garage go to JDM and get my part and mail it to me. I finally got my money back….all but 4 cents! Hahaha. PayPal wouldn’t help me as I was over their 180 day time frame, so I contacted by credit card company and they filed a complaint on my behalf….within a day DG returned my money. I would recommend getting your money back as soon as possible and go elsewhere.

Good you got your money back. It's weird they have no phone number available. 🤔

As soon as I saw this letter wanting me to cancel my PayPal dispute, and THEN they will refund me was a huge red flag. I immediately called PayPal and escalated my case.
