This should have an LD28 crank if someone is close to it. I'm sure it will be cheap a couple of hundred dollars. Pull the engine and scrap the rest...

I'm sure it still has the engine because it would sit higher without it. But I thought the same thing. They say diesel but it would be nice to see the engine for confirmation. If someone is close enough they can go by and inspect it.

I might have found a clue.  Picture 15 in the BaT listing below.  The gas cars don't seem to have anything there.

p.s. apparently you can reVIN your car with a label maker in Colorado.

If I lived in the Denver area I'd probably buy that engine car and resell the crankshaft.  Seems worth the effort.  Easy money.

Diesel cranks are $1800 or more these days. $1,100 is a good price.

I figure even if the car cost $500 with fees. Sell the crank. Might be able to sell the head too. Take the car for scrap for $200 - 300...
