License plate assembly - replacing rubber seal/gasket? 1971 240z

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out a good method or replacement part for the rubber seal inside of the license plate assembly on my early 240z.

I recently opened the assembly to replace a bulb and noticed that the rubber seal/gasket (seemingly for waterproofing) was deteriorating and falling apart.

I'm wondering what you'd recommend to replace the rubber gasket and if there are any aftermarket parts available. I'm assuming Nissan doesn't have this available anymore.

Any tips or information would be much appreciated! Thanks so much.

I have a scan of the gasket that you can print on a standard 8.5X11 page. Get some 1/8" thick closed cell foam and lay the print on it. Use a very sharp hobby knife to cut out a new gasket. I've used this process several times for license light refurb.
