I just wanted to let my friends know that I've been under the "weather" for over a year now with my clutch leg (LHD).

I had a knee replacement 10 days ago and walked on my own after 1 week. I didn't get the robotic arm installation just the old fashioned human arm job. Very happy with the prospect of being young enough and pain free to maybe work on another Z sometime in the future. I'm keeping them cranked up and fluids flowing monthly but unable to drive. Soon enough my doctor says.

I'm glad you've got a solution going. I know a half dozen or so people that have had knee replacement in the last couple of years. All of them much better off shortly after surgery.

Here's to a quick recovery!

And that's important for your cars too, not just your body.

Hey Cliff,

Sorry to hear you had to go under the knife but glad that all is working out well for you. This certainly gives new meaning to the term "repro parts"! 😄

Best regards,

Jim

I feel like the parts weren't exact like a cheap floor pan so they just beat it into place with a big hammer. Fortunately that soreness is just about all gone and I actually have medication left. Who'dve thought! LOL

Save them in case your "gas pedal" knee gives out.😎
