Datsun 240z 1971 (feb) windscreen wiper mechanism parts?

Hi Guys,

Yesterday on a drive (Fast one!) on the German Highway i noticed That my windscreenwipers where all over the place.. They went off the screen when the wind was blowing them that way and didn't stop in the low position but a bit higher..

Now i used the search button (everywhere and topic ) But nothing came up ????

I find that strange..  Anyway.. is there a source for new parts for the windscreenwiper mechanism, i think there are plastic parts inthere that need to be replaced after 54 years? hahaha..

Also the elec. motor and gearmechanism could use some fresh grease i think.. is there a topic on this?

Nissan did make wiper blades for high speed, I have a pair NOS for the 510, with a blade to help with downforce. Though unsure if there were Nissan ones for the the S30, without checking.

Yes, a common problem with the wiper mechanism, slow and not setting back, most swap to the Honda(?) wiper motor, but a through clean and re-grease may do the trick.

I don't need new blades, i need a new wipermechanism or at least the parts that wear out on such a system..  Maybe Z-services.eu has some?

@Mike  how is it possible that if i search On the website for "windscreen mechanism parts" or even windscreen or mechanism.. i get zero results? am i doing something wrong?  (The search says: everywhere.. but nothing comes up..  also looked under Topic.. but nothing.. 🥲 )

Since most of the users here are 'Murican, try windshield wiper in your searches. Also, did you look at the parts fiche to see what parts may be wear parts?

... I own about 5-6 sets of fiches (For 240z) but over 10 years no viewer.. oeps.. so i don't know..  (I got hundreds of fiches of datsun automobiles.. so if anyone wants some.. they are from 1970-1988 or so..)
