August 22, 200321 yr comment_47508 Steve,I notice a few guys are giving you details of their HLS30 cars too. This will potentially increase the size of your database by a factor of x10! Maybe you need to clarify again that this is for RHD variants only?Hayden Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7056-tell-me-yours-i-want-to-know/?&page=4#findComment-47508 Share on other sites
August 22, 200321 yr comment_47516 Yes - I thought the original theme of the data list was for RHD "Export" cars only?I did not give you my data, as both my RHD cars are non-Export Japanese domestic market versions.I also got the impression that it was for cars that are still "alive" ( as opposed to scrapped / junked ).Sounds like the job of a life-time, but very well worth doing nonetheless. Any extra data on the RHD cars is always worth gathering. :classic: Alan T. August 22, 200321 yr Author comment_47517 Well I will come clean on this. To all, I am now into the pain of collecting the production Data for the S30, Is a very tedious task. I am primarily interested as stated in the export RHD Drive S30. To that statement I have realised that the task gives great incite into market saturation engine number variation and production delay just by reading the numbers. I am of the opinion If you have an S30 and you want to give me the information, I will put it in, that includes HLS30 from USA delivery or other. Any small extension of the data increases our depth of knowledge on production distribution and what is left. I have made a decision to enter the dead ones in Red as well as stating the fact in the comments. They all fill in the jigsaw, even when the only proof hangs on a garage wall half way round the world. To the cause, I would urge all of your input. I will attempt to put it together with information from all reliable sources ( read forum members) and people I interrogate). If you or people you know have valuable chassis/ engine / production / vin / compliance and any other useful info please send it in.cheersSteve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7056-tell-me-yours-i-want-to-know/?&page=4#findComment-47517 Share on other sites

August 23, 200321 yr comment_47601 Steve,The interior is black. Has 5 speed. Original colour from what I can tell is a metalic burgandy. The rad has been recored and the paint code sticker has long gone. Any ideas as to it's original colour? Wouldn't mind knowing.Cheers Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7056-tell-me-yours-i-want-to-know/?&page=4#findComment-47601 Share on other sites
August 24, 200321 yr Author comment_47653 240znz, thanks for your information. To the original colour of your Zed, I am sure exactly, I think I have one or two possibles.DULON DULUXCode 006 FULTON BROWN 15033Code 960 RED 15051Code 701 TAHOE RED 13320If you can take a digital pic of an area like up behind the dash, it will give a nice slab of original colour. so it can be matched. I do not have the 70 colour samples but these are from the 71 set.I think it is reasonable to say your Zed was built probably NOV, DEC70 so it is probably not on the sheet I have. Someone will be able to identify it from the picture though.CheersSteve :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7056-tell-me-yours-i-want-to-know/?&page=4#findComment-47653 Share on other sites
