Posted July 22, 200321 yr comment_44850 I was just wondering what you guys think of these wheels. They look similar to watanabes. I like them, but I think they might be too bright on my z. I love that they have such a deep lip. What do you guys think about these wheels on a Z? Does anyone have a picture of a Z with them or own a set? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43954&item=2424953864I want that that Fairlady Z look, but I am thinking about waiting to find a nice set of watanabe's. The other thing that I am thinking about is, would black or gunmetal watanabes look too dark on my car since it is light blue? Take a look at it in my gallery. I would love some feedback thanks.Regards,Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7144-konig-rewind-wheels/ Share on other sites
July 23, 200321 yr comment_44853 Look good to me..... only thing that might be a small problem is the offset, you'd have to be careful not to buy too wide a tire or you might have a bit of a rub at the fender lip. For instance, you might have to go with a 205 or 215 instead of a 225 or 235, of course a lot of it would depend on the profile you select too.. 50,55,60 or whatever....Personally, the Gunmetal color is my favorite, it goes well with nearly any body color. I wish Panasport would do theirs in a slightly darker shade.... July 24, 200321 yr comment_44990 Hmmmm... your car is very bright like you said, and with that cream interior, chrome mirrors and no tint I'm really not sure dark wheels would look good. Your car at the moment has that "clean and sharp" image. On that car some polished up ones might look better... but I think the wheels you have at the moment are perfect. That's my opinion anyway :cheeky: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7144-konig-rewind-wheels/#findComment-44990 Share on other sites
July 24, 200321 yr comment_45100 they look great to me would need to check offset to make sure you can run the tyres you want Only thing i would say is if your heart is really set on watanabe's then wait and get what you really want I know i wasted $1000 buying my first set of mags (rials) sweet mags looked good but where not the Simmons that i really wanted so ended up selling them for a loss and buying the simmons 10 months laterMick Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7144-konig-rewind-wheels/#findComment-45100 Share on other sites
