July 26, 200321 yr Author comment_45218 sjcurtis what exactly do you need from my car? its still got matching numbers right now i've got a few pics, its the drip rails my usual panel and paint guy is worried about? basicall the rear slam panel for the boot? its gone both the drip rails are right through, in front of the drivers side guard is right through underneath for a good 6" by 2" and on top has a small hole through And the drivers floor is pretty much all rust so you can see why i want a new shell has anyone got Ians account so ican PM him - he hasn't replied to emails! Anyone else got shells anyways Curtis let me know what you want and it'll be not a problem, i'm going to keep stripping her down tomorrow so i can take some photos then Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7185-240z-shell-help-australia/#findComment-45218 Share on other sites
July 27, 200321 yr comment_45244 Walkingpig, the information I am after is the information from the manufacturers data plate " HS30-XXXXXX & L24 XXXXXX & from the ADR Compliance plate if fitted 3/71 or 9/73 to place the time of arrival. To the corrosion problems with the existing shell, it sounds severe in some area's, the site's sound familiar as places where the shell does fail, I am sure that repair schemes are available for most of what you have identified. I think your pictures should draw some good comments. I had some major repairs completed on my shell on both sides and the centre of the rear, last year in North Ipswich, the company specialised in rare and unique body repair.cheersSteve :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7185-240z-shell-help-australia/#findComment-45244 Share on other sites
