Posted July 30, 200321 yr comment_45471 Year is unimportant to me. I want a 240 that has little to no rust, in good running condition. I would prefer a car that does not require much body work/reconditioning.Must be a manual transmission.Other than that, I am not very picky - I am willing to travel anywhere in the Continental U.S. if it looks worth my while. Of course, this requires that the car be in good neough running condition that I can drive it back to Mass. (Having a very difficult time finding a 240 worth buying here in Massachusetts)Thanks! July 30, 200321 yr comment_45484 How much are you thinking of spending? Costs don't vary much, but it will determine whether you get a rolling chassis or a clean daily driver. July 30, 200321 yr comment_45488 Where in Mass are you? I'm on the north shore. I too have had a hard time finding anything with little or no rust. Traveling isn't in my budget though, so I'm going to have to rely on an inspection service and shipping costs. (scary) Good luck on your search. July 30, 200321 yr Author comment_45491 I am looking to drop up to about 5000-5500 for the car. Actually, Korg, I was quite interested in your ad that I saw on another site - I will try to contact you later if you are still selling itWannaZ - Won't shipping costs be more than the travel costs? How much can you get a car shipped across the country for, nowadays? I'm located in Weymouth. July 30, 200321 yr comment_45502 I once was in Denver Colorado looking at a car.I was shocked to find it was MORE expensive for me to rent a U-haul and drag it home myself than to pay a carrier. August 11, 200321 yr comment_46711 hi guys, i am currently in denver, co.. am planing on leaving in about 10 days to return to the bay area(S.F.) for a year of school.i took photos of the car today and will post tommorrow afternoon.look at the classified, this car has no rust at all and drives like a bat out of hell. i just put 3000 on the odometer driving through the west. used 1/4 quart of oil, from a small pan leak. i tried to keep the speed at a moderate average, around 80-85 most of the time.in the morning i am taking the car over to fortunz of wheels in denver. he is a z specialist shop. i would be glad to pay him for an independant evaluation for serious inquries.keith 720.981.8093 in denver or vysynry@hotmail.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7241-wanted-240z-in-the-us/#findComment-46711 Share on other sites

August 13, 200321 yr comment_46988 If you are wanting to find or price for shipping a car within the USA it not hard. Open your phone book and look up your local dealer only auto auction. They will have transports running cross country 24/7.
