September 5, 200321 yr comment_48685 Car isn't painted yet so no need for a grille in it just yet...:disappoin I did get mine from Nismoparts.com last year....the only difference in the mounts will be if you have a 73 or later car.. BTW Brett, MidwestZ, our new advertiser can get the grille and will ship overseas and you'll also get a 10% discount by being a member here.Check out the other thread on the grill...http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=52888#post52888 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7248-konig-rewinds/?&page=2#findComment-48685 Share on other sites

June 10, 200420 yr comment_84619 I saw this auction of a pretty nice looking Zed. I was concentrating more on the Konig Rewind wheels that are on it which is a pretty rare site. Look at the center caps. From what I have heard, the konig center caps will not fit on the front. This one has some very nice center caps. I really like the stance of this Z with the thick rubber. The wheels do look like they stick out 1-1.5cm too much. My favorite part about this auction is the seller's extensive discription ::. Take a look. It really is a nice Z. A little too high priced possibly. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6187&item=2481720159&rd=1 Ben p.s. These wheels look pretty cool to me Carl. June 10, 200420 yr comment_84624 Hi Ben:A very nice looking car, but I don't think the term "restoration" applies to it. Yes, the wheels do look nice, especially with center caps that fit on the front of the car. (Maybe I did good to buy that set of Rewinds when I did)The description is certainly a little vague for a $13K car. I would have thought he'd want to brag on all the parts and work done to this car to make it worth the price he's asking. June 15, 200420 yr comment_85135 Carl, you are absolutely correct, the front konig center caps will not work on the front. i haven't yet investigated what might fit. while the wheels still show up on the konig web site, they were discontinued, roughly 2 years ago. i contacted the company, e-mail. reply from company, indicated, they keep the discontinued wheels on the web site to see, if any interest, if enough interest, they consider making the wheels again. i have a set on my 72. 14X7 front and rear, silver grey. bought em from Gabriel. can't say enough nice things about his sales and service. i think i had the wheels, before my check cleared his bank. i am running 225/60/14 on rear and 215/60/14 on the front. with the 14X7 wheels and the offset, this combo, looks great, tires look much wider than they are. the stance is great. pix should be in my gallery. wayne Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7248-konig-rewinds/?&page=2#findComment-85135 Share on other sites
June 15, 200420 yr comment_85205 I think that you can't go wrong with the real thing. Watanabes. I see Victoria British is trying to keep up with the 8-spolk rim design. They look so fake. I got this photo from Wat's website. This Z is one hot car.
