You're one year minus two days older than I. 12 Feb 1940. I'm using my '70 Z 4 speed, mostly stock, as my daily driver during the summer. No airconditioning in steamy Maryland, 35 miles NE of Baltimore.:classic: I have a beautiful Thai wife and a daughter of 8 years old.. Both of my Z's are daily drivers, My series 1 '71 sits in the garage for now and more than likely will for the winter. I am now driving the '74 and will enjoy it much more when Super dips below $2 a gallon and the Mikuni's are adjusted better...

73 240, no where near stock, a project started before I had a wife and has finally moved to the front burner after 15 years of sitting. Hopefully this spring she will be my daily driver, making my 40 mile comute to the "city" on what is considered the worst highway in the area a total driving pleasure, 40 miles of curves and 300' long or less passing lanes. Now if I could just get everyone else to leave either 15 minutes before or after I do it would be great

I turn 50 today and live in Sarasota, Florida. I have HLS30-00026 built in November of 69 and I am restoring her. I'm an architect, single and have a daughter in college.

I'm 42, and live in Champaign, IL. Wife, three boys, one huge dog. I have HLS30-00215 (11/69) and currently have it down to the bare shell restoring it. I do engineering supercomputer simulation research at the University of Illinois (www.csar.uiuc.edu).

Don't we have 'Introduce yoursef to the Class' for this? Just turned 36, live on the coast halfway between LA and SF...General Contractor...on wife #2...two daughters 9 and 3...1 doggie and 1 kitty, a 77 weekend driver/autocross car and a 73 stripped and being put back together a little to slowly with a 81 drivetrain as a serious auto-crosser. Now we are going into wine season (my other hobby), so the poor Z won't get touched until October.

Maybe we could get together , say at mc minmimums , at the Edgefield for a burger and a beer, We could start a happening. I know that there are several of us in the area , why not get together and say Hi. Get back to me and we will set a date is Sept. :classic:
