I'm wondering however, what other carb options there are? My main criteria is they have to be fairly cheap (not much more than another pair of round tops), deliver similar performance and not be a pain in the arse to fit. Any idea? Thanks... Gav240z Posted August 24, 2003 Share #4 Posted August 24, 2003 If your car has the L26 still in it you should get the fuel injection off a Skyline with the 2.4L engine (L24) As later ZX fuel injection will need a bit of work to make fit the earlier head.I have a set of British SU's not sure what they came off were on a 2.8L Z of mine but I'd say they need a rebuild really, I have the throttle shafts rebushed so they should be good but I'd take them apart and rebuild them if I was gonna use em' again.I was gonna practice my polishing skills on them and i'm not sure I'd be comftable selling them to you cause they were a bit of a pain to tune and not as good as the Z SU's made by Hitachi.
