240Zdragon72 Posted August 29, 2003 Share #1 Posted August 29, 2003 Great news, I got my '72 240Z to start and run for about 2 sec. I put new coil, Optima battery, and ran new power wires to the fuel pump with a carbon fiber guarded switch. I got a back fire through the forward carb. So I'm thinking that my timing or the fire order is off. I have the L28 engine with a 280 distributor, 240 ignition modual, and a 280 cap. (If that helps out with a diagnosis of what is wrong with the car.) ThanksBrian:alien:
