Hi Cameron and others, yes there are a few kiwis on this site, and we also have our own club site - www.zclub.org.nz - theres a membership form there!

and yes the Zeds are getting harder to buy, most of the NZ Zclub have owned their cars for well over 10 years - I always regretted selling my first car, and now have another!

my advice - wait for a good one, and pay the price. - or regret it over the years, at your leisure!
