Besides the Zcar, what are your favorite cars?

Don't get me wrong, I love the Zcar. There is always going to be a place in my heart for them and I plan to buy another in the future, but I do have interests in other cars.

I have been reading a lot of car mags Lately and it has sparked my interest about many cars. Not all of them are that similar either. I was just curious what cars you guys are interested in or own.

Here are some of my fav classic and new cars just to name a few:

I love the idea of a four wheeled motorcycle, so the Lotus( or Caterham) super 7 it is.

The Jaguar XKE is the most popular of the Jags, but I fancy the Xk120. Hey I even sound like one. HehHEhehe.

The Bentley's of the late 20's and early 30's were great. In my opinion the most sporting car of their day. Too bad they cost upwards of 200-400,000 USD.

As far as the new goes I would someday like a Subaru WRX Sti. The Lan Evo is awsome too. Every now and then I get to drive my Moms Jetta VR6 when I am home. I am the one behind her getting it. She was thinking about a cabrio, but I intervened and suggested(begged) for the Jetta VR6. She loves the Jetta, as I do too.

I could go on and on, but I wont. I am curious to hear what you Zcar enthusiasts would like to place next to your Z. List them off.

-Ben

P.S. I sound like I am 15, but I am 20 and I live away from home in college.

Well I just started getting into the Z car craze maybe I am at the tail end of some sort of rise in the popularity of late model Z's 69-78.

Well as for some of my other favorites, let's start with cars I will probably never own:

Classics:

Ferrari 250 53'-63'

1939 Bugatti Type 59-50B Monoposto

Present:

Keonigsegg S8

Ferrari F50, Modena 360

Lamborghini Murcielago

1994 Bugatti EB110 GT

2002 Bugatti 16/4 Veyron

Cars I might own:

Audi S4

BMW M3. M5

RX-7 Turbo II, Gen3

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4

Toyota MR2

Ultima Can-Am or GTR

Some of these have turbo's and I have begun to grow tired of turbos and want some v8 power and a supercharger.

Triumph spitfires

The original cobra

Most old chevies though Ive never been partial to shoeboxes(55-57).

A few years of corvette.

Older porsches.

Id love an old Mazerati Bora (wrecked a friends dads biturbo many years ago, he never let me drive again !).

My Z was a fluke, Although I'd been saying forever that I wanted one I think unless the same opportunity had presented itself I would have passed on the Z. The funny thing is, now thta I have the thing, I dont know why I never got one sooner.

my absolute dream car is a 1970 Dodge Superbee in go-mango orange. this could be due to being raised hearing about the one my dad used to have... 440 cui, offy dual plane tunnel ram, twin 650 center squirters, 330 intake/exh duration .550 lift cam, wild gears, fairbanks racing tranny..... *drool*

I love all cars really...but I have (in addition to my Z!!) an 82 Mustang GT, a 68 and 73 Camaro, and a 73 Pontiac Lemans. If I could have anything....I dont know where I would begin. Probably a 911 or a skyline. Then I would need a c5 corvette and a 55 Chevy along with a new 05 Mustang if it looks as good as the concept.

So many cars...so little money!

Give me the art-deco time cars. Speedsters and boat tails of the 30s & 40s. Love the Cord

I also have a real soft spot for the classic pasta rockets. Got the look once with a dino kit over a vw but look is not even close :stupid:

My love is with the Corvettes 61-62 are where its at for me . I had a 61 hardtop\softtop 283 4-speed and will get another someday. My 73 stingray was fun but after that the vette started going down hill IMO. My 88 was fun but just didnt do it for me.

Porsche is another car of love for me. The first one was a 86 944 so so kinda cheap but fun driver. Now I had a 89 928sc and that was a car to die for. She would kick the azzend out and lay black marks @ 70mph on the highway. Buying it was easy paying for getting it worked on was nuts :tapemouth Sold it after one month.

At this point I have my 73 240Z, 64 Impala 4door hardtop, 95 Neon ACR, 91 Subaru legacy, and 91 olds cut.
