September 4, 200321 yr comment_48583 Picture doesn't show the faces of the ring gear very clearly, but it doesn't look to be galled. Spider gears have some wear but that isn't the most important part. Looks pretty good to me... September 5, 200321 yr comment_48641 :classic: The picture of the gears is a little fuzzy , but I would go for the set , I think they look good . For $100. what are you worried about , acouple of hours or labor? If you are looking for 4;11s go for it. September 5, 200321 yr Author comment_48668 I don't have the luxury of an inspection as the unit is half way accross the country. But from everyone's input I will get back with the seller and let him know I want it. Thank you all very much!! September 6, 200321 yr Author comment_48800 Say! I just thought of something. You say that this will rev a couple hundred RPMs higher on the highway. I have also read that a lightened or an aluminum flywheel will reduce low end torque and RPMs as well are increase top end speed. If a lightened or an aluminum flywheel is used with a 4.11 wouldn't you net about the same results as a 3.9 while saving a little weight too?
