Sounds like you're referring to the offer as logistical. Our logistics offer will move you ! Sounds like your offer is in regards to logistics. Unless I'm mad. :stupid: :stupid: :classic:

Caen Fred Posted September 10, 2003 Author Share #9 Posted September 10, 2003 Ahah going north now! Thanks my Canadian friend.PS : Allan if you want to give your Professional point of view your welcome! I am looking for "worldwide English" but I do appreciate those little differences between UK and others.
HS30-H Posted September 10, 2003 Share #10 Posted September 10, 2003 OK Fred - since you invited me.............:cheeky: I don't understand about the word "offer" in the phrase. What is on offer? Who is offering? Anyone looking at that page already knows that they are there to have something offered to them. No? If I were a customer who was looking for the logistics services of this company, then I would have thought the phrase "Our logistics will move you" or "Our logistics services will move you" would be a nice pun that still gets the point across. But then, as an Englishman, what would I know about English? Alan T.
Caen Fred Posted September 10, 2003 Author Share #11 Posted September 10, 2003 Ok I see...Well, the "offer" is developed inside the brochure and relate to the investments they made in men and services, which make a "Global offer" for the client... You may be right and I will also propose the shortened version to our client. Thanks to all…
kmack Posted September 10, 2003 Share #12 Posted September 10, 2003 Just to throw in my Texan vote, Fred, "logistics" sounds better to me. I vote for the 2nd one.
