1971 dashboard for sale on Ebay

I've noticed that a lot of things will sit on e-bay for quite a while and then suddenly generate a flurry of bids in the last few hours or minutes. Sharks converging, I suppose...

I was watching a NOS antenna the other day that was around $100, and in the last 5 minutes went to $225. Crazy.

I figured I would give everyone here an opportunity to get it, by selling it on ebay, then posting it here. I'm sorry, but this is too good of a thing to just GIVE AWAY. They don't make these anymore. The really only thing wrong with it is there is about a nickle size chip in it. I had already bought a cap for my cracked dash, and I aquired this and didn't feel like swapping dashes. (i'm cool with the cap) I'd rather sell it and get some of the money back I spent on my Limited Slep Differential. By the way, I still have a set of SU carbs, and MPH and RPM gauges. The carbs have new needles and gross jet float valves.

Too true. No need to be sorry. It's yours, and you should do with it as you will. If someone on the board here wants to make you a good offer, then you can stop the auction early if you decide to take it. If nobody wants to give you $100, then either someone off board gets it for > $100, or you get to keep it. Good luck! :classic:

I learned that as well. I never bid an even dollar amount. If I estimate that the most I'd pay is $75, then I bid $75.01, or maybe $75.51 if it looks like things will increment by $0.50. Just because of this :classic: . I've been guilty of sniping a time or two as well :ermm: . Benefits of a cable modem, I guess...
