SledZ Posted September 15, 2003 Share #3 Posted September 15, 2003 Why didn't you just offer it to "us" instead of Ebay

JEFF Posted September 15, 2003 Share #5 Posted September 15, 2003 4 days left on the auction and no bids yet. How much do you need for it?- Jeff
Dreco Posted September 16, 2003 Author Share #6 Posted September 16, 2003 Since I started the bid at 100 dollars, I wanted at least 100 dollars. I've stated that I have this dash before, and nobody, seemed interested. If someone wins the bid for 100, they get it.
mdbrandy Posted September 16, 2003 Share #7 Posted September 16, 2003 I've noticed that a lot of things will sit on e-bay for quite a while and then suddenly generate a flurry of bids in the last few hours or minutes. Sharks converging, I suppose...I was watching a NOS antenna the other day that was around $100, and in the last 5 minutes went to $225. Crazy. Dreco Posted September 16, 2003 Author Share #8 Posted September 16, 2003 I figured I would give everyone here an opportunity to get it, by selling it on ebay, then posting it here. I'm sorry, but this is too good of a thing to just GIVE AWAY. They don't make these anymore. The really only thing wrong with it is there is about a nickle size chip in it. I had already bought a cap for my cracked dash, and I aquired this and didn't feel like swapping dashes. (i'm cool with the cap) I'd rather sell it and get some of the money back I spent on my Limited Slep Differential. By the way, I still have a set of SU carbs, and MPH and RPM gauges. The carbs have new needles and gross jet float valves.
mdbrandy Posted September 16, 2003 Share #9 Posted September 16, 2003 Originally posted by Dreco I'm sorry, but this is too good of a thing to just GIVE AWAY. Too true. No need to be sorry. It's yours, and you should do with it as you will. If someone on the board here wants to make you a good offer, then you can stop the auction early if you decide to take it. If nobody wants to give you $100, then either someone off board gets it for > $100, or you get to keep it. Good luck! :classic:

Well you dont want to drive the price up too early and price yourself out of the bidding.

I've been guilty of sniping a time or two as well . Benefits of a cable modem, I guess...
