Posted September 15, 200321 yr comment_49779 I have a hooker header I'd like to get rid of. It seems this might be the place to do it...It came off an E88 head, I don't remember what year the car was, but it was a 240 or 260. It's got surface rust, but nothing serious, from sitting. Other than looking scuzzy, it is in good shape. Haven't seen any advertised except for new ones for $220+, so I'm asking $100 + shipping within the continental US.I'll try to post pics, but if you are interested, e-mail me and I'll send a bunch.Thanks-Tony P.opelbits@yahoo.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7915-fs-hooker-supercompetition-6-2-header/ Share on other sites

October 1, 200321 yr comment_51589 Tony,Other than the rust, what kind of condition are they in? Any holes, pits, or damage? OR would I just need to blast and sand them? Thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/7915-fs-hooker-supercompetition-6-2-header/#findComment-51589 Share on other sites
October 1, 200321 yr Author comment_51595 No holes or pits that I have found. It's pretty much the usual tubular header surface rust. A good bead blasting and repaint and they'd look pretty decent. The car that they came off of had a really bad intermediate pipe that connected to both flanges with a cheesy attempt at merging the two pipes. It was so bad that it probably negated any benefit the headers would would give.
