1 Bravo 6 Posted September 26, 2003 Author Share #4 Posted September 26, 2003 Hey, thanks Nate,I only caught around ten minutes of the show but what I saw was 240's going through their paces on an obstacle course and on the open road, followed by a couple of 260's doing the same thing. No sound on the T.V. just the picture.I had to leave before the 260's finished their act.At the time I was in the golf clubhouse and my team mate was calling me to get down to the 1st "T".Well, there ya go George,You now have something to look forward to mate.RETIREMENT !!!!!!(Best start planning for it NOW).Rick. The researchers naturally refer to books and magazine articles, and you get the same stuff being repeated until it becomes truth. If anything, I would have thought that a film about Yukata Katayama and his life would have been just as valid. NHK in Japan did a similar film as part of their "Project X" series a few years ago, and to their credit they did at least bring a few more relevant people into the story. However - they still cocked it up by making lots of gaffes. Shame.Nobody's immune. When I went to the "Sports Car Graffiti" event at Nissan's Ginza showrooms a couple of months ago, I saw that whoever had written out the show placards that accompanied some static displays had gone and copied the oft-repeated spelling mistakes that you see in many books and mag articles ( and on the web ). The worst was the wrong spelling of the name of "Kaishinsha" as "Kwaishinsha" - which you see EVERYWHERE. If Nissan can't even get it right themselves then what chance does anyone else stand?Everybody's eyes have glazed over already and its time for my medication, straight-jacket and padded cell. Well, if the old US of A is in the Americas, then it wasn't on sale yesterday as far as I could tell. Ten to fifteen minutes to load their site wasn't conducive to me paying much attention, but I noticed it immediately today when I decided that I would probably buy one just to see what it was, even if I did have to go to lunch between page loads. I'm sure somewhere in the world, today is yesterday, and probably tomorrow too - but that just makes my head hurt so I don't think about it :classic: .
