Whenever I go into a bookshop I check out the books on Classic Cars to see if anything new is to be found regarding the second love of my life-----the ZED Car.

Every book I have looked at , (so far), refers to the 280 as the car with which Nissan "Lost The Plot". It would appear that had Nissan simply updated and refined the 260 they would have retained more of their market.

As one book staes, "There is nothing essentially wrong with the 280ZX, provided you don't expect it to be a velour trimmed 240Z".
