Are the 240z and 260z accesories (power steering, air-con etc) interchangeable. If this makes no sence to you, read on.

Say I have a bog-standard 1970 240z and a bog-standard 260z. Can I pull the power steering unit or air-con unit off the 260z and put it in the 240z with ease? or will it be easyer to get a custom installation?

I didnt beleive any Z cars had power steering orther than ZX onwards

you could if you pull the front end off the 260 and put it on the 240. Not easily done. Very expensive

I'll let you know how easy it is after I do the same with my 240 and 260z's
