1975yellowBSPZ Posted October 3, 2003 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2003 Does anyone know a cheap place to get tires mounted in Dallas?I need to get some auto-x tires, and I can get the tires for $100 less then what discount retails them for by mailorder(including shipping) but If everywhere charges $25 a tire to unmount and remount then its a wash. Anyone know a cheaper place to get tires installed in Dallas? $100 to pull off 4 tires and put 4 on is crazy to me.Bw Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They'll dismount/mount/balance for less than $10 per wheel.My local WalMart has even agreed to dismount my tires so I can refresh/polish my wheels and then remount/balance many months later..Yeah, I know, polishing doesn't take that long, but with my job, kids, dog, etc. I hardly have time to take a sh*t.In any case, try WalMart, or KMart Auto if you've got one of those.
