I think the weather play a big factor on the cars condition.IMO, but it is a really great looking car. Almost restored too.

but way overpriced. if you look in the san diego area and such you can find very nice cars for around 1500 to 3000

You may be able to find good looking cars for less, but an early vin, unmolested '70 is hard to find -- and reliable to boot.

Most will think I'm asking too much, but I really believe it's worth that. Only time will tell. This is an unrestored car in great shape. It's been through a few hands, but no one has messed with it. As far as I can tell, it's lead a pretty quiet life. For someone who is looking to modify and go really fast, this isn't the car, but for someone who is looking for a classic to restore, this is a great place to start.

By saying the car is unrestored, do you mean it is original? I have never seen the rear strut coverings that were not diamond shapes. Is that some kind of option, or were they replaced?

I'm sure someone replaced them once upon a time.

When looking at someone's car, whether just looking or with intent to buy, you might consider that it is normally considered "gross" if you let your drool actually drip ONTO the car.

It isn't not too bad if you drool on the guy's car, just don't drool on his car while looking at his wife/girlfriend!!

By the way, wouldn't that fall into the category, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it"??
