Perhaps if you had included the info in your last post in your original post, there wouldn't have been as much skepticism....

If you had said in your original post that the info on the car was on Carl's web-site we would have believed you to begin with.

If a new member were to say he's got a 71 Hemi-Cuda sitting in his driveway, that is a 1 of 1 built by the factory, I'd want to see documentation from Galen Govier to back up his claims. Wouldn't you? Same goes with a Z, if Carl says it's legit, we'll believe it. We have a couple members here that know the Japanese models and/or European models as well as Carl knows the US models.

I wasn't trying to be a tool. I just wanted to welcome myself to the board and let you guys know what I have in store. I have been around the Z comunity for a while and was taken by surprise when I was greeted with doubt right off the bat. I just didn't think that I would have to prove myself to you guys.

I apologize for doubting you and your car, but if you look at this link, I think you'll understand why most of us have some doubts about the types of people that you can run across on the internet.

Most of us are the "I'll believe it when I see it" types...

If this is a "race car" or even a car that anyone with any kind of sense would take out on the street. Make sure you read the description, especially the part about the seats.....

YOU WILL NEED AN ENTRY SWITCH, S THE CAR IS SHAVED AND I ENTER THRU THE BACK. THERE IS NO HARDWARE FOR THE SEATS, THEY ARE RACING SEATS WITH SEAT BELTS HOLDING THEM IN AND HARNESS TO HOLD YOU AND A PASSENGER

A lot of Z people think thye have some "Special Edition" car when all it has is stripes down the side, so I wouldn't blame some members here to doubt you. Now that it's been cleared up I hope you will stay without a tarnished view of this great board. It really is a great place...

First up, that Custom Z is kinda funky looking and I'd like to say congrats and well done on the find and good luck with restoration.

Surely though you can understand skepticism, it's the internet it's 70% lies and ignorance.

The funniest "version" I've seen on a car belongs to that of the Toyota Corona, which comes in a... are you ready for it?!

EXCITING VERSION! , Yes the Toyota Corona EXiV actually has "EXCITING VERSION" written on the back on some of them.

I'm not sure what their basis for comparison is.

Oh, and that Z on ebay... No wonder it sounds like a tiger, he's on running 4-1 headers which would leave 2 exhaust ports to exit directly into the atmosphere. LOL
