Well.....I finally got the car back last friday after 7 and half months off the road. The mechanical work ended up taking a good bit longer than it should have as two different shops sold me the wrong suspension gear. Also my mechanic has been pretty busy and so have I as it was the last week of lectures.

Anyhow....I've been a little grumpy with it the past few days as it's having vapour lock problems (almost 40 deg days atm doesn't help) and I'm just not used to driving the thing.

Apart from the vapour lock she's running pretty sweet. The new suspension is a god send and it's making a good bit more power with the overhauled carbs.

Took it for a little blat this morning just for the hell of it.....I think I'm getting to like it again!

7 & 1/2 months you say...... 7&1/2 YEARS with out driving mine!!

But as you said......."damn those lines are sweeeeet!........" So I keep my head up and smile when I think ..... "It'll be great to have it done ---- done right.

After my baby treats me bad I take her for a long drive. After the flawless drive I pull up in my driveway, turn her off, then I just sit there for a few, thinking........ yea, you are sweet, nice ride! Thank you.......
