Boy, am I an idiot!! I passed up a chance to buy a one owner silver 72 with a red interior, it needed so much work I said no way. Now I see your car and I am kicking myself. I know the red interior is kinda rare in the early cars, and seeing one as nice as yours really hurts.

Great car! Breaks my heart though.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I can't claim to be responsible for the condition of the car. It's been taken care of VERY well by the three previous owners. I bought it on e-bay last summer. The engine had an all stock rebuild in 1995 and has only 8000 miles on it. The rest of the car has around 85,000 miles. Paint, weatherstripping and windows were also new in 1995. It needed front end work when I bought it, which I quickly took care of. The interior is in almost mint condition - ZERO tears in the seats and new carpets that fit. Every guage, dial, light, and button works perfectly, including the clock and the electric antenna. I really feel like I lucked into this car, since I bought it sight unseen. It runs like a top and turns heads everywhere I go.

Here's one more pic I have that I think is interesting, taken at Nissan's proving grounds. Turns out the silver 240 in the background is owned by the VP of Nissan. Kinda neat to know I own the same Z as the head honcho :).
