Posted October 13, 200321 yr comment_52961 I recently disconnected a blue wire from the ignition column and cannot remember where it goes to.My ignition now does the following:When turned from OFF to LOCK I hear a click similar to the click you hear when you go from OFF to ACC.the dash brake light comes on (at the speedometer) and basically drains my battery.Does anyone know where this blue wire goes to? Is this a ground wire?also, the ignition is not original but it is a Nissan.thanksHP Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8354-1971-240z-ignition-lock-off-acc-on/ Share on other sites
October 13, 200321 yr comment_52965 The only all Blue wire coming off the combination switch is the common for the wipers. There is also a blue wire which controls the power antenna lead from the fuse bos (20A0 through the switch to the antenna. That line also goes to the radio. Don't know if this will help. If I can get to my car and check, I'll let you know if there's a connector you may be missing.
