October 15, 200321 yr comment_53173 Technically it is 4 X 114.3mm, otherwise known as 4 X 4 1/2". And NO, you can't file out Mustang wheels (4 X 4 1/4") or Honda/Miata/Old BMW/old Volvo?) and everything else wheels (4 X 100mm) to fit.steve77 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8381-4x114/#findComment-53173 Share on other sites

October 17, 200321 yr comment_53440 The term for the measurement diagonally between studs (on 4 stud, on 5 stud it's from 1 stud to the centre point between the two diagonally opposite studs) is the PCD or Pitch Circle Diamater. Thus 114 or more accurately 114.3 is the mm distance between the centre point of the diagonally opposite studs. Like so; where 'x' would be 114.3 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8381-4x114/#findComment-53440 Share on other sites
