I've had a couple of the MSA headers with no problems. I would, however, suggest paying the extra money for the ceramic coating. Not only will it look better and prevent it from rusting, it also helps cut down on the underhood temp somewhat.

Never used the Targa or Monza exhaust so I won't give and opinion on that. I've only used MSA's "Turbo" 2 1/2 inch exhaust. No problems with that either. Unless you can find an exhaust specialty shop close by that can do the work locally. But be sure to look at some of their work before you commit. And ask them if they use mandrel bends, which is the preferred bending technique.

I have the MSA 6-into-1 ceramic coated header. It performs/sounds/looks great. It empties into a 2.5'' custom bent all-weld coated pipe to a single turbo muffler, mounted in the stock possition. I'm very happy with this set-up. The "Midas" job it had when I bought the car was WAY too quiet. No way was any sports car I own would sound like that!

IMO Monza sucks  I have wasted money on monza junk in the past and would stay far away from them. They work good - fair for the first 6 months or so then fall apart after that.

YES YES YES :classic:

Yes, its not cheap BUT think of it as the last header you will need to buy for many many years. Then back it up with stainless steel pipes and forget about for years to come :cheeky:

Yea, It fogged a bit. Sort of whiteish/pearlish. I was thinking it would come off with that good German polish - Flitz is it? But I haven't tried it yet.

do you have to have a pre-muffler or resonator?

I was thinking of boring out my stock manifold a bit, since it flows so nice.. and won't have such high under hood temperatures....

but I was going to run straight back with 2.5" exhuast straight to a muffler.. instead of a pre-muffler before hand.

The factory cast monifold is just as bad about giving off heat as a header is...and guess what...when cast iron gets real hot it warps alot. I am running a MSA 6-1 ceramic coated with a custom mandrel bent 2.5 in stainless and a borla mufler in the factory location. Sounds great and it really keeps the heat down. BTW the Arizona Z-car header is the same one MSA sells. I do not know who makes it but I do know it was designed on an engine dyno.....once mounted in a car with new engine and tranny mounts....it requires a special bend after the colector to clear the tranny cross member.
