I just made a change to the main page in the forums area. If you want to see it, just click on the forums tab under our top banner. Anyway, the forum main page was getting huge and I decided to change it a bit. Instead of showing all of the main categories with all sub-categories on a single page, the system shows only the main categories.

Hopefully this makes it easier to find what you want quickly and without scrolling. Let me know what you think of it.... I can go back the old way in a heartbeat. But, if you like it, let me know because we can keep this new look.

It's nice, I like it. Good work! Will take a small amount of adaptation time but as I said, it's nice.

I hate to provide neagtive feedback but i actually preferred the old layout as you could get an quick overview of topics with new posts just by quickly scrolling down the screen and looking at the new post indicator rather than having to click into each new directory to have a look around.

Thats just my opinion though, not meaning to take anything away from the site.

I must agree with drunkenmaster for the same reasons. It took me twice as long to review the new posts tonight as it normally does.

Love the site, just don't like the new forum layout. If it stays this way I will just have to get used to it, but personally I liked it better the other way.

Ok, your wish is my command... I changed the layout of the main forum page to show which forums have new content with a little checkbox.

I still dont completely understand the need for the initial change, but this incarnation suits my taste much better than the previous, I cant speak for all though.
