Rust repairs

Here are some rust repairs that ive been working on.

note the black stuff is rust killer.

After cutting rust off and welding new steel.

Yep your right its gas. I have the option of getting someone to TIG weld, my concern is that TIG might be much hotter than MIG and I wouldn't want the surrouding steel to warp especially if its anywhere visible. Would anyone here recommend TIG?

Thanks for the compliments, here is a shot of the finished dogleg, a finned sanding disc was used to smooth the welds.
