Posted October 23, 200321 yr comment_54386 I believe the fuel pump relay is out on my 87 ZX. The fuel pump runs when I jump it out, however when I turn on the key it does not. The problem is that I cannot find the relay. The Chiltons manual I have only addresses the location of the relay for earlier models. I am starting to wonder if it has one, however the wiring diagram shows that it does. The fuel pump wiring was shorted out accidently by the previous owner trying to install underbody neons. If anyone can help, pleas do so.ThanksRono Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8539-1987-fuel-pump-problems/ Share on other sites
October 23, 200321 yr comment_54389 Hello,Have you looked behind the rear right-hand interior plastic trim panel? The panel that is directly behind the door. I think it's a blue relay, and you can't really see it until the panel is off. Just a thought. I remember that from another 300ZX but I don't recall what year.Chloe Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8539-1987-fuel-pump-problems/#findComment-54389 Share on other sites
