Ok, I know tfhis is very basic, but I've searched the forums and can't find the answer. Since I'm a newbie at Z restoration (3 days !) I would like to see photos of stock 280Z interiors. While most of my interior components are in good condition, I'm not sure they are correct - for example, my interior is Coffee Brown, but the door arm rests are black. Is this correct? I don't know if this will help, but I had the same question. I have a 260 with a cream interior and the armrests were black. As far as I can tell that is original. Whar year is your 280? I think the later years had the matching armrest color and interior color. I am not sure though. Good luck.

I have a 1976 280Z, just got it the other day. Anxious to start the (long) process of restoration. Ken

Far as i know, the dash and armrests are black in all Z cars 70 to 78. Maybe not in the latest 280's, but i think through at least 1976.

As far as pics, just go cruize the gallery and look at all the pretty Z cars, and an "image search" at google.com maybe.

You can't beat having a search box in the galleries! I did a search for 77, 76, 75, 1977, 1976, 1975, 280Z and interior. Cruising the galleries, you can't help finding it remarkable how many beautiful cars it contains.

Yes, the search capability is great, but I found exactly what you did- some with matching arm rests and some with black. Which is stock? I've seem some cool restorations here, but which are correct? It seems from other replies that perhaps prior to 1977 black was standard, but it would be nice to know for sure. Thanks to all who have responded. Ken
