A Y70 head??? An L20E motor?? Is this a 6 cylinder?

If I'm correct the Y series head is very very rare and sought after; any pics available. Is it a crossflow head. The distributor cap screws on as well. Very interesting indeed!

By the way, take that rocker cover off with the big NISSAN lettering; they're also becoming quite scarce and fetch a good price if you want to sell it.

Any other news from either yourself or Alfa regarding the K's??

Be good to stay up to date...!

I think it said Y70 or something similar, I can't remember exactly, but I'll probably be getting the head anyway, it was definately a six cylinder.

Crossflow would have intake and outlet ports on opposite sides, correct? hence cross-flow. If that is the case then, no, it wasn't a crossflow head.

My brother took the big lettered nissan rocker cover off, he's going to polish it up and hang it on his wall, so I guess if it's all polished up and they become a wanted item, he'll be able to fetch a decent amount for it should he want to sell it.

I've put some chrome(plastic) fender mirrors onto my K, they look similar to the actual ones but they're off a Laurel. Cost me $30.

Other than that though, news on the K front is a little slow, I'm waiting to hear back form the guy I got the R30 parts to see whether he's had any luck in removing the head and manifolds.

I've also got to save $500NZD to buy the rest of the spares off the guy I bought my K from. Pair of doors, some glass, possibly some front fenders, rear tail-light section and some interior bits as well including some factory black rear int. panels and a dash minus the top (I think that's what he said).

Am also waiting on some factory service manuals, 1 covering the L20, L24 and L26 engines and another for the 240Z (I know I don't have a Z but I couldn't pass it up. :classic: )
