November 26, 200321 yr comment_58507 This seems like a real winner. Can these be obtained in the states? Chloe?? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8726-indicator-switch/?&page=2#findComment-58507 Share on other sites
November 26, 200321 yr comment_58510 The part number (25545-N3600) comes up as 'Switch t/s' in the Nismoparts.com database. It shows a price of $21.23 plus shipping. In my experience, this doesn't mean that it is still available through them. You would still have to call to check availability. Their parts database is useful also for inputing a known parts number to get a description of the part. November 26, 200321 yr comment_58553 Hey BenThats great news that the part is still available, bet it will save a great deal of otherwisw defective indicator switches out there.Others, keep in mind that this kit will only rebuild the 240z style switch as far as the indicator selection switch goes. Seems like the 260z switch has a slightly different "moon" shape to the indicator select switch (see the metal "moon" shaped piece in Bens photo above). All else is usable between the 240z switch and the 260z switch.BTW Ben, Im glad to help out after all the help that you have provided me over the years that we have been in contact. You dont owe me one, more like I now owe you 99 from 100 ;>Let us know when you are fully street legal.RegardsJoseph Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8726-indicator-switch/?&page=2#findComment-58553 Share on other sites
November 27, 200321 yr comment_58609 I have the same problem with my "76 260z But has anyone had there headlights go out completly when switching from high beam to low beam? this happens to me at times and it's a real safety concern!! Luckly the lights come back on when you switch it between high and low but a real worry!! Also when driving in some wet weather the other day ( with head lights on) I noticed a burning smell and saw some smoke come from behind the stearing wheel! I switched the lights off and luckly the zd is ok and hasn't burnt to a crisp! There must be some high AMPs runing in that low beam high beam switch! I must have a short in the wiring! has anyony had the same problem???
