rotors and master cylinder replacement

I would like to replace my worn rotors with some vented ones (Not the slotted ones). Can you get those? Is there an alternative source to the standard solid rotors?

Also, would it be better to rebuild the master brake cylinder or just get a new one? brakes are wimpy on the first pump, but hard on the second one.

thx.

your only option for vented rotors at a cheap price is to go with the toyota 4 piston calipers with 300ZX rotor.

as far as the master you will get all kinds of replies on this one, my point is when it comes to stopping i like to know its going to work and its new!

i would also before you invest in a MC, to check your rubber brake lines, and booster. make sure thats the problem first

I would go new master cyl. While its down all rubber hoses and rear wheel cylinders. With good (new)pressure one of those would probably fail next.As far as the rotors,Years ago I bought nissian comp cross drilled rotors. When you hit the brakes the air movement makes them loudly go WZZZZZZZZZ.I never even wore the paint off them before I went back to standard.Oh their on the shelf any buyers??

4-piston calipers are a little overkill for the street, no? Aren't those a bolt-on thing? I suppose I could swap the calipers in the driveway, then drive(slowly) to the service center to get the system flushed. I already have a set of (off-road use only) brake lines with the braided stainless cover.
