Regarding the rocker panel trim, I had added that to my 280 in the mid 80's (i think it was a 76...). The trim was available in silver and gold aluminum. It pop rivetted in place... Of course, at the time, I didn't know there was a following for Z and I just liked it as an affordable first sports car.

In any case, I bought the trim through the ZCenter in NJ... not sure if it was dealer installed...

Check my gallery... you could see what a UPS truck does to that trim... :disappoin

Hi again Marty... I missed a few ??'s.... miles wise it says 99xxx the guy I bought it from has owned it for 10 years and said he's only but on 1000 miles at most since he bought it... it's a orignal arizona car .. I found it up near the Wisconsin Boarder in IL....

Hi Larry.... thats sad what big brown did to your car... is that getting repaired ? or being used as a parts car now ? trim wise yes... that looks like the same stuff.. was concerned about some rust in that area with all the groved in the trim but it looked / felt fine... thanks for the info .. Kevin
