Posted November 10, 200321 yr comment_56550 I have a 70 240Z and am looking for rims. I have Tokico springs and Alumina shocks installed. I am looking at a pair of 16x7 rims with 40 offset. Do you think these would fit without any rubbing issues. Body is stock. What size tires do you recommed. Thanks for any advise you guys can provide.Mark Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8801-correct-wheel-size/ Share on other sites
November 12, 200321 yr comment_56751 I believe the offset you need for a stock setup with these wheels is "0" offset. With 40mm of offset, your wheels would sit inboard approximately 1 9/16"and possible tire to chassis rubbing would occur without using 40mm spacers to center the wheels/tires. Hope this helps you out! P.S. Stock wheels have "0" offset Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8801-correct-wheel-size/#findComment-56751 Share on other sites
