Would someone be able to tell me if the 71 Z lever is the same as the 73 or 72 lever?

The "lever" may be the same BUT the WIRING that comes with the lever, and switch is not compatible. The wiring will not connect. There are significant differences to the wiring harnesses between the early Z's year by year.

Oops, I guess I should have checked before I bought the 71 versions on eBay. Anyone need them? Thanks Carl
