Posted November 12, 200321 yr comment_56682 Can anyone tell me where to buy the valve cover breather shown in this picture? It looks like a mini k&n filter on the top of the valve cover.http://www.schueracing.com/images/breather.jpgThanksMark Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8823-valve-cover-breather/ Share on other sites

November 12, 200321 yr comment_56685 I don't know who stocks them, but K&N does make them. Maybe email K&N for a stocking dealer near you? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8823-valve-cover-breather/#findComment-56685 Share on other sites

November 12, 200321 yr comment_56709 The fitting on the valve cover is normally routed by a hose to the intake air cleaner so that blow-by air from the engine has a place to go. When using *some* aftermarket air cleaners (which may not have the provision for the hose), you can use the filter which will trapp any oil mist blowing out of that valve cover fitting to keep it from being puked all over your nice clean engine compartment. November 12, 200321 yr comment_56710 It eliminates the unsightly hose that runs to your stock S.U.s.And if you replace them (stock carbs) w/ triple webbers or something like that, It allows the cover to breathe w/o the use of a hose going into a filter plate that no longer exists.I think?:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/8823-valve-cover-breather/#findComment-56710 Share on other sites
