November 12, 200321 yr comment_56712 Logical when you explain it as such. However, wasn't the original concept to burn or re-route any emmision buildup back through the intake? Is there a design that allows you to use the larger filters instead of the OEM aircleaner AND allows crankcase emmisions to be introduced back into the carburation system as originally designed? In a word, YES Originally posted by Zedrally Is there a design that allows you to use the larger filters instead of the OEM aircleaner AND allows crankcase emmisions to be introduced back into the carburation system as originally designed? (as Dave said) In a word NO. All of the aftermarket aircleaners that I have seen do not have such a provision. After having this filter on the valve cover for a while, you do need to clean it to remove any oil build up or it will eventually drip out on the engine.
