What can you tell me about the P80?

I just got a new 1981 280zx, its got the P80 head on it...is this head better then the N42 on my old car ?

Also the inlet manifold seems to be slightly differnt more vacum hoses ? so would the 1981 - 1979 wiring loom be differnt ?
