Sorry to hear of the wreck. Its never easy to see another Z get hit none the less have it a czcc member :sleepy:

Anyway, There is a 280 sitting about a mile from me in a boneyard. Same color never hit just a locked up motor and rusty rockers. I know the owner and can get good prices. Let me know and I would be more then happy to find out how much for what you need.

I am in Oklahoma but can ship UPS MON - FRI. Let me know.

I would like to thank all of the CZCC members who are offering to help me out.. and letting me know about the parts they have found or have.

I will have a meeting with an "estimater" who will evaluate my damage and figure out how much it will cost, what my insurance covers, and how long it will be.

So, after that meeting, I will know if I need any parts for my poor baby.

Thanks,

Agreed. If your story is correct in that she was headed straight for you and you had to swerve to miss her, then it would be her fault. According to your side of the story the accident was all her fault, and quite possibly Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Your insurance should not be involved with paying anything.

If I were investigating that wreck I would prolly charge her with careless and reckless driving (again based on your side). What were the findings of the investigating officer? Feel free to PM me if you wish. Something don't sit right with the insurance thing.

But.. here is what SHE said...

I was doing doughnuts and 360s in the middle of the road and because she was on snow/ice she did not have enough time or distance to move out of my way.

So my insurance company thinks I was doing doughnuts at the time I was in an accident, which is a lie.

Weirdly enough, people believe her over me... which is really driving me mad.

The police were supposed to come and look at the accident and investigate, but because both of your cars are somewhat drivable and we were unhurt, the police did not come to investigate due to the high accident alert in the area.

Therefore, it's my word against her's.

Please tell me you took pictures of the area of the accident. That will show in the snow whether or not you were doing anything stupid on that road. The one thing you have working against you, is you were actually down on that road for that very purpose. If you had pics of the tracks going in a straight line until you had to avoid her, your story would hold true.

No, I don't...

I didnt have a camera with me at the time... and it happened at about 3:00pm, so I got my car home by then it was about 4:30pm and I live about 10 miles away from where it happened. By the time I got there it was too dark and I couldn't see.

So the next day, Monday... i went out to take pictures.. but the snow melted... over the day (I had to go to school) and it was too late.

SO no pictures. :(

She's a girl, and you own a sports car. From the outside looking in, she looks the innocent one.

Upon investigation of both of the cars you should be able to tell pretty quickly she was lying...
