Almost looks like mine- I had a BMW hit my 280 on the right front side as well.

I did get a check for $2,000 from the other driver's insurance company. Problem is I settled at 90% and after removing the front panel and headlight cover I noticed it suffered minor frame damage. Estimate is 500 to straighten her back out.

500 - FRAME Correction

200 - right panel

75 - new headlight casing

300 - motorsport air dam

hood was damaged as well so another 300 at least

Luckily I came out ahead but still have not taken the Z to get the frame fixed.

Remove those parts and see how much damage is underneath so you can get an exact damage estimate.

 no before photos. still needs to be fixed.

I had the entire interior of the car replaced (new carpeting)

which cost me $500 so I will get the front end fixed soon.

Depressing though driving around with my Z now when it looked so good with the new airdam.

Good news!!

I went to a place here in Colorado called "Classic Car Restoration" and they gave me a flat estimate, which the guaranteed to be within 5% of the original estimate when the final bill is made.

For the front fender repair and headlight and bumper repair, long with the rear quarter panel and paint and blending and etc....

$2152.05

So.. I'm set and i'm happy... the insurance company gave me $3,900 for my car, so I have some extra dough to spend!

the before picutres of the accident...

got my claim up to

$4,432.05 for my car... CASH!

But I had to pay a $250 deductable.. and a $400 buy back, so they don't total the car and crush it.

So about $3,800 for the car, which is exactly what I paid... :)

So I have about $1,800 extra bux lying around after the repairs :)
