Wrecking (and damn cheap at that)

Hi Guys, I am wrecking a late 260Z 2+2, and have got the ultimatum from mum that it has to be gone by christmas time. Rather than dump it all, I am offering it to you at knockdown prices, I have taken most of the driveline and its in two pieces (oops I slipped with a grinder :)) I need most of the front end for my 240, but it has good tail lights, and many ok bits and pieces inside. Write what you want here, and I'll let you know if Its on there. Its even cheaper for locals who can come and take the bit off themselves. Act fast, or it will have already gone to the great big junkyard in the sky.

Ozlime, when you say the dovetail, are you meaning the whole large latch part on the doorframe? The 260 has that, but it doesnt have the little cast alloy wedge that I fear you may be referring to.

Gav, no outer door handle or vinyl trim, all carpet.\

DattoZed, I think RogersZ may have beaten you to that as well, but I will have a good ferret round my parts collection.

Hmm maybe more of it will go to the dump than I though.

Sorry about the last atempt, I will blame my P.C.

If the diff is quiet and does not make any noise I will drive over and get it....

I also want the windscreen wipers, and if it is a manual any of the manual trans bits (pedal box, master cylinder etc.)

What wheels does it have? I am looking for a set of original alloys...

While I am at it a couple of rear strut caps would not go astray, what colour is the interior?

If your console is not cracked I will pay good money for it, name your price.

I'm looking for:

- 260 Badges (2+2, Datsun and 260z)

- The lid for the centre console (if in good nick)

- Rear trims that sit next to rear seat (if black)

- Strut caps

have you got any of these??

I have a 260z 2+2 that i will be completely pulling apart.

I have already removed the front panels. Keeping all the mechanicals, dont know what i'm doing with the rest. Black interior panels, rear seat etc. Probably will have to go.

Anyway i worked out a real easy way to tell the difference between a r180 and r200.

The r180 rear plate is very flat when compared to a r200, which has a lot more curve to it. And if you dont have another diff to compare it to. the r180 moustache bar is infront of the A arm supports that are mounted to the chassis, while the r200 moustache bar is behind the A arm supports.

Mine has bolt up half shafts.
