A post a while back said that he waited until the weather got cold and hit the floor pans lightly with a hammer to crack the floor tar. He said it was easy. Made me wonder. If you put dry ice in the floor and let it sit awhile???HMMMMM No fire, no chemicals......hmmmm Just a theory.Someone let me know!

I don't see why it wouldn't work. HOWEVER, instead of worrying about heat burns from a torch or heat gun, you'll need to be careful to not get freeze burns from the dry ice. It will kill skin just as quick as heat will.

Thats it, Carl. Your new name is Yin&yYang. You see good in evil, You have an up for every down, you see the black in the white, etc, etc, just pullin your leg.

Anyways, your advise should be well heeded ( taken seriously )

Dry ice can be nasty if your not careful.

floor tar

Is this the rubbery / plastic material spread over the inside floor and console pannels?

If so I don't think there is any paint under them, something to consider and my ones didn't take much heat to lift them off. Are you worried about damiging the under seal or surrounding paint?
