Pic 6. LHS rear quarter view. I bought this car in 1997 for $200, drove it from time to time along with my 260Z, and attempted a GTR replica late 2002. I stuffed up the paint job and was really disappointed, so I got rid of it for the sedan I have now. anywa as you know, I'm getting another coupe and I won't stuff around this time!:classic:

Man, that would be a nice base car to start with this time around. Can you not get it back of the person you sold it to? or has it since met the reaper?

Also, what series Skyline were those centre caps from? C210? They'd be good to use on my car as the 'S' matches the centre symbol of my steering wheel perfectly.

Another thing I noticed was the reflector panels on the bumper you can see in the pic of the tail-lights. They're different to mine, they have rounded edges where-as mine are squared off. Was that a slight style change through the years?

That bumper was off a sedan, 76 I think, same bolt pattern etc.

That car belongs to a guy here in Melbourne now, he's the guy I'm getting my 'new' 240K coupe from. Sort of ends up like a swap I guess:classic:

The centre caps were from a C210 Skyline, removed the clamps they had and just tight fitted the caps to the wheel. All depends on your wheel design ie if your centre protudes out from the wheel you might have to do the same, if it doesn't protrude then you may need to retain the clamp so that it can be pushed into the centre and expand once in.

Speaking of C210.

Also, you wouldn't be able to get me some of those caps would you? Or at least a price for some, obviously if they're going to be super expensive it's not worth my bother. I've never seen a C210 in person, well... perhaps I have but they don't exactly stick out fantastically especially when they don't have JDM rear lights.

Sounds good, how much does a set normally go for at the wreckers? I was going to get some R30/R31 caps but the wrecker didn't want to sell them without selling the wheels and I don't need or want the wheels. I think he said for a similar set if he could find some it would be around the $20-40NZD mark.

Excellent, there's no hurry for them, if you're going there for something else then just enquire then, I'm broke this week so out of cash til next week anyway, spent my money on the rest of the EFI setup and the KPGC10 GTR Model as well as a couple of old magazine's with 240K and 240Z info. I should really keep my spending down so I can afford food and things. :finger:

All the C110's sold in Australia were GL's or GT's hence the IRS on all models.

The C210 mentioned above is fitted with a 'Creations' aftermarket manifold. Somehow I think that it would perform better with the OEM L20AET gear fitted....
