I'm after a .com I investigated it slightly, I used to work an an ISP in NZ so I can probably call upon some people if need be and most my friends are nerds like me, which is always beneficial. :)

Although, having said that, Netregistry's .com price is half that of the domainz.net.nz (which is owned by MelbourneIT) so... interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

Pretty nice GT-R replica you had there, any pics of it when it was nearer completion? I might give you a PM later about those flares too...

Oh, and I just lost ALL my data from my hard drive, so now I don't have any GC110 pics at all :( Let alone S30's....

There are a few for sale in Queensland this week! woohoo!

I've never seen these cars before. I don't think they were exported to the US. The way you guys are going on they must be pretty special. I have to admit that they look interesting. Did they evolve into Skylines (not imported to US either)? Are they faster/better handling than Z-Cars? Where can I learn more?

What about the Australian & NZ domestic market? Did Australia and or NZ go through a muscle car era as did the US in the 60's early 70's? Did the domestic manufactures build small body cars with big V8's like our Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, Road Runner,... Were any cool US cars exported to Australia & NZ?

Sahunt those 240k's also known as Skylines were imported to NZ & AUS back when they were released like many other Datsun/Nissan products.

The were powered by the L-engine found in the Z and in a rare case the Skyline C110 GTR it was powered by a S20 engine found in the 432 & 432R Fairlady Z.

The C110 didn't have a big racing history due to the oil crisis of the time to my understanding and due to their larger size and weight I'd say they were not as good handling as the Z

In Australia we had some of our own V8's like the Americans did.

V8's have always been a big thing for Australians, some legendary cars such as the GT40 Ford I think XC Cobra , Holden Monaro etc were all V8 grunt powered.

Sahunt, as Gavin said, the handling of the C110 is not as good as the Z car for the reasons he pointed out, but with stiff springs, lowered suspension, and wider wheels (GTR flared out to fit) they handle much better. Bear in mind with the C110 like other GTR the base models were produced as passenger cars, unlike the beast of the Z which was/is a production sports car.

The Z and K share the differential R180 available 3.54 ratio, gearboxes (except 240Z early type), engines (240K GT available with twin SU carburettors) and front brakes (twin spot calipers).

Don't know if you guys down there are aware of it, but the Holden Monaro is being imported to the the US as a Pontiac GTO for 2004. I've looked at the spec sheet; nice car.
